Ride On
Bethesda, MD

Bethesda (Montgomery Co) is a suburb of Washington DC. The Metro stops there, and although there are some WMATA buses, most local bus service is provided by the local operator, Ride-On. Here is a bus stop at the Bethesda Metro station.  Picture & text by C. Hobbs.

This stop (shared by WMATA and Montgomery County Ride On) is located on Woodmont Rd, Downtown Bethesda, near the Metro station.
The sign with the "8" on it is for the "Bethesda-8", a free shuttle with a (surprise!) route shaped like a Figure-8. (It is actually Ride On Route #92)  Picture & text by C. Hobbs.

Montgomery County Ride-On stop across from Bethesda Marriott on Pooks Hill Rd. The picture is kind of fuzzy, though.Be careful crossing the street here...the road is narrow, but traffic is fast.  Picture & Text by C. Hobbs.

Maryland Dept. of Transportation

A Maryland Dep't of Transportation bus…at a rest area in Portage, Indiana! Being delivered from the New Flyer plant, of course.  Picture & text by Mark S.
