This bus stop is located at 1st/Gaffey, San Pedro. It is an old, blue Long Beach Transit sign, since Long Beach Transit used to operate between Long Beach and San Pedro until early 1992, when LADOT took over. At that time, LADOT didn't put up new signs, just left the old signs there (with "Long Beach Transit" blotted out...)

A couple signs created by Long Beach Transit for use at one of their transit centers.  The big sign is intended to be used by other districts.  Picture by Mark S.

Passport

Long Beach Transit runs a shuttle they call Passport.  This stop is located at 7th & pine.  Yes that is a plastic seagul on top of the sign, unless it is the ghost of Jonathan Livingston.  Picture by G. Araki.

Well, they have a new sign, but still the same seagulls.  Found at Pine & 7th by G. Araki.

Stop located at the Queen Mary.  Pictures by G. Araki.  Hey, did they get rid of the bird on top of the pole?

Aquabus - This service is provided by LBT and Catalina Express.

They even try to disguise them as boats and docks, but we still find them.  Picture by G. Araki.

The Buses

Various bus pictures by G. Araki.  The colored buses are used for the Passport service.
