hello! this is a bus stop from eltham, a suburb in victoria, australia it is a stop on the 582 woodridge route,
and is a fine example of a bus stop in the outer suburbs of melbourne.
the bus is affectionately known as 'the woody' and therefore falls victim to many jokes about 'how great it is to ride
the woody' and so forth
the bus company operating here is panorama coaches.

drivers work in a complex system of rotation that allows them to only drive on the woodridge route around once every month. thus, an array of different bus drivers make themselves known to wodoy
passengers, including:

somewhat androgenous doreen
and the late 'bill'
some drivers are known for
their illegal use of mobile phones while driving
others for their refusal to grant concession rates to 11 year olds in school uniform who cannot produce a student card
and others for
their policy of givng free rides on the woody (no pun intended) to teenage girls
it is also rumoured that for a bribe, the bus driver will drive passengers to their door.
and thus is the
